So many times you hear, "Did you pray on it?" "Did God tell you that?" I mean really? Sitting on the proverbial think thank this morning I pondered on this subject. My question is this. Does every good idea have to have an eternal significance? We all know that everything has it's time and place but if you miss that window, are you wrong? I mean of course if you blatantly go against a warning that you knowing know that God warned you against, yes.
What is the difference between a "God Idea" and a "Good Idea"? They say that a "God Idea" comes with an anointing that, even though difficult, we are able to move forward with joy and faith knowing that we are doing what God has told us to do. I ask, what about your faith in His Word that he will bless the works of your hands? Does this not lead you to the same bliss? And if you hit opposition, is it not God ordained because the flow was not smooth? I was also told that doubt, fatigue, and fear was the tricks of the enemy. Since we crossed this line, the Word also says that the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy.(John 10:10) So knowing this, why wouldn't an idea that will better you, increase you, help you and others, be a "GOD IDEA"? This again brings us back to timing and where it thickens. This is where your time with God comes in play and even sometimes counsel.
But, anyway, I ask these questions: Should we set BIG goals and step out on faith for our BIG GOD? Yes, I believe so! Should we pursue "GOOD IDEAS" that may or may not have eternal significance? Yes, I believe so! However! Let us always be thoughtful of which ones and when. IjS!
